  1. Who Facilitates the Retreats?

    Liz Marucheau & Helen Kuhn are two licensed clinicians, together they have over 35 years of experience.

  2. How many couples will participate?

    The retreats are designed for 3-5 couples, this is not the typical couples workshop/retreat of 50-200 couples with power points. Anchored in love is provided in a relaxing intimate environment with no more than five couples.

  3. Is this group therapy?

    No, this not group therapy. Throughout the retreat you will have time to discuss concepts, strategies and tools privately with your partner, as well as to do exercises separate from the group.

  4. Do I have to talk in the group?

    No, when the group is together we will be sharing directions for exercises and discussions that you and your partner will have privately.

  5. Is this just for couples who feel disconnected?

    No, this retreat is for couples planning to get married and/or for couples who want to set the foundation for a safe & secure relationship to prevent disconnection, as well as for couples who want to improve their relationship and have been together for years or decades.

  6. What is the schedule?

    Friday - SET THE SAIL (3 hours), here we will set the foundation for the weekend which will take place in a beautiful villa located at the water on the resort property. Saturday - Take a DEEP DIVE into your relationship (6 hours). The morning will take place at the resort and the afternoon will take place on a luxury catamaran with a sail around the bay. Here you will have opportunity to practice what you learned. The vessel is large enough so that individual exercises can be done in private. Not sure if sailing is for you, most of the time we can arrange for your afternoon to take place at the resort.

    Sunday - TIE THE KNOT (3 hours) leaving with the owners manual to your partner, enhanced communication skills and tools for a lifetime promoting connection & intimacy.

  7. Does the entire couples retreat take place on the luxury catamaran?

    Three hours of the entire retreat takes place sailing on the water. The rest of the retreat is takes place in a Villa on the property of the resort.

  8. Are there discounts available? .

    Although lodging is not included in the cost of the retreat, participants have the option of staying at the resort for a 50% discount off of room rates and 20% discount on food and spa services.

  9. Who should not attend this retreat?

    This retreat is not designed for couples who just learned about an Infidelity, active addictions interfering with the relationship or couples on the brink of divorce. For these situations, call the office to inquire if couples therapy or an intensive might be right for your unique situation.
